Lord,

Convince my heart that the true definition of "beauty" is   when your people exalt You because of Your Word and works (1-4). Help me love righteousness and justice as much as you do (5). Teach me  to tremble before You (8). Show me the peace that comes from the fact that Your plans won't change (11). Help me trust that my victory comes from You, not my own strength (13-22).

Today's reading in Psalm 32 reminds us of the joy of grace. 

Lord,

When I try to hide my sin as if I were righteous on my own before You, I grow weak and weighed down by my sin (3-4). So I confess my hidden sins to You today. Thank You for the grace and joy of forgiveness (5). Instead of trying to hide my sin, I hide myself in You so that Your righteousness "covers" my sin (7, 1). Thank You for leading me today (8). Help me submit willingly to Your direction without You having to persuade me by hardship (8-9). Give me opportunity today to shout for joy because You wrap Your "faithful love" all around me (10-11).

Lord,

You are my safe place of refuge (1-4). Whether it means life or death, I put my spirit in Your hands, just as Jesus did on the cross (5). Replace my idolatries with trust in You (6). Your goodness overflows to me (19). Help me love You today as much as You deserve (23). I hope only in You (24).

You own me (1). Make me reflect You well by purifying what my hands do, what my heart wants, what my mind thinks, and what my mouth says today (4). My righteousness comes from You alone (5). Make this generation one that seeks You instead of stuff or status (6). You are my great king. Prepare me for and cause me to look forward to Your coming (7-10).

My Shepherd, 

You provide what I really need  for life (1). Help me be content with the food You provide (2). Enable me to follow Your direction (3). Satisfy me with Your presence (4). Calm my fears with Your comfort (4). Teach me that my enemies can't prevent the overflowing blessings that You plan (5). Thank You for pursuing me in Your "mercy and faithful love" even when I fail to pursue You (6). Help me choose to walk with You today and "as long as I live" (6).

Today let the way you see things be conformed to how Christ sees things by reading Psalm 22. 

Lord,

My tendency is to focus on the hopelessness of my situation (1-2). Help me remember Your character and how You have worked in the past (3-4). When people treat me badly (7), gang up on me (12,16), and make me feel weak and helpless (14-18), help me trust and delight in You (6-8) and be my salvation (19-21). I praise You in the midst of my pain because I know You hear me and will satisfy me (24-26). Let my life point so clearly to Your powerful hand of salvation in my life that others see it and turn to You today (27-31).

Today, let your perspective be shaped by psalm 19. 

My Rock and Redeemer (14),

All you have made tells of Your greatness. When I wrongly doubt Your power, direct my eyes to what You have made (1-6). Your Word gives life to my heart because it makes me wise if I submit to it (7). Your truth never changes, so I can rely on it (9). Help me desire to know Your truth more than riches or good food (10) because it points out all my sin (12-13). Don't let me be ruled by sin so that what I say and even what I think pleases You today (14).

Today's time being conformed to the image of Christ is in psalm 18. 

Lord, my strength and protector (1),

When I understand the awesome power and effect that Your rebuke has on those who seek to destroy me, anything I could do to bring about justice for me is pitifully weak (7-15). Regardless of what others do to me, I will do righteousness (20-24). Thank You that with You, I am always supported and never trapped (18-19, 29). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, so "clothe me with strength for battle" (39). Thank You for the "shield of Your salvation"(35). By coming low to help me (ultimately in Jesus), You raise me up to Yourself (35). I don't deserve this victory, but I thank You and praise You for it (49-50).

Lord,

Help me trust You enough to leave room for You to vindicate me (1-2). I decide today that my mouth will NOT sin (3). It is Your Word that keeps me from sin (4). Let me see what You are doing in love, my Savior (7). Lord, confront those who are hardened against me because they live to be satisfied by this world (13-14). Satisfy me today with the hope of seeing Your face and living in Your presence (15).

Lord,

Let my every relationship and action be shaped by knowledge of the Truth (2). Make me "unmoved" and consistent in righteousness. Don't let me harm my friends or neighbors(3). Make me that hate what You don't tolerate and respect those who fear You. Help me keep my word no matter what harm it may bring me (4). Don't let me live just to make a profit (5). Instead of giving to get, lead me to see that I have received to give.
