Lord,
Teach me how to wage battle ruthlessly against everything that keeps me from Your holiness (1). You are my only truly safe place (2). I praise You for Your care over me, even though my life on earth is so fleeting (3). Show Your power today in my life, even if it means I must endure hardship for a time from which You powerfully rescue me (5-8). Then I will have a new song of victory to sing to You (9-10). I will be secure only if You are the source (12-14). Be my security today. Only then will I know real (lasting) happiness (15).
