Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

7 Methods for Praying Evangelistically

  1. Personal Prayer List—Develop a list of lost people for whom you pray consistently and specifically

  2. Prayer Groups and Corporate Prayer Meetings—Get in a group that regularly prays for the lost.

  3. Sunday School Classes—Incorporate evangelistic prayer into Sunday School structures.

  4. Prayer Walking—Either alone or with others, prayer walk or drive key neighborhoods.

  5. Adopt People Groups and Specific Projects—Select key people groups of projects to pray for individually, in small groups or in corporate prayer meetings.

  6. Family Prayer—Encourage family members to adopt their own lost prayer list.

  7. Prayer Contracts and Visits—At restaurants, hospital visits, family gatherings and daily life, ask people if they have needs you can lift to God.
