Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

21st Century Bus Ministry?

Eight hundred buses pass through Britain’s streets emblazoned with the proselytory advertisement: “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy life.”
Is this evangelism? If it is, it’s certainly a pitiful attempt. The word “evangelism” comes from a Greek root word meaning “good news.” I cannot imagine worse news than proclaiming a vague probability about an absolute being. What could be worse than attempting to quell worry knowing that there is a distinct possibility God exists, yet brazenly choosing to ignore Him? Instead of preventing worry, that is a surefire formula to cause it. The rational and emotional contradictions of atheists never cease to amaze me!

See Dr. Al Mohler’s take on the issue here.
