Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

The Preservation of the Bible

The Bible has been miraculously preserved. One can find no other book which has, from its inception, generated more controversy than the Bible. From the days when the Bible solely consisted of Old Testament writings, it has been under attack by kings, nations, philosophers, educators, and even Satan himself. It has been banned, burned, spurned, mocked, and maligned yet still it reigns as the most influential book of all time.

Few question the authenticity of the writings of Plato, Aristotle, or even Shakespeare, yet hundreds more physical proofs exist for the authenticity of the Scriptures than for them. The only explanation for the miraculous preservation of the Bible is God’s divine protection.
