Daily Truth
Today, read Matthew 26:47-75. Lord, let my affections toward You be expressions of my heart (26:48-49). Help me be a friend even to those who make themselves an enemy to me (26:50). Keep me from deserting You (26:56). Enable me to follow closely to You, not "at a distance" (26:58). Produce bitter sorrow in me when I fail You (26:75).
