Romans 11:33-36

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

The Joy of Christmas

We all enjoy singing Christmas hymns this time of year. But do you ever step back and listen to the words you’re singing? The words of many Christmas hymns speak of the joy of Christmas. Some speak of the joy that came that first Christmas. Others speak of the joy that can be had today because of that first Christmas. And yet others speak of the joy that will come in the future because of that first Christmas.

Last night’s sermon titled “The Joy of Christmas” dealt with those three views of Christmas—the joy of Christmas past, of Christmas present and of Christmas future.

The sermon manuscript is available here.

The audio is available in the player below for listening or .mp3 download.
